kiwi kale and orange smoothie

makes 1 litre (2 1/2 smoothies)

2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 cups cold brewed green tea (or water)

2 cups kale (or kai lan) leaves, frozen
2 kiwifruit peeled, cut into chunks and frozen
2 navel oranges, peeled, cut into chunks and frozen
2 tablespoons barley grass juice powder
4-6 drops stevia

  • put chia seeds and green tea in blender and leave to soak for 15 minutes
  • process until chia seeds are no longer visible
  • add remaining ingredients and process until very smooth
  • pour into tall glasses
  • enjoy
